Child Care Resource & Referral provides core services for: -Families by providing referrals to child care programs, conducting
workshops on "choosing child care" and answering questions on
child care regulation and quality issues. -Community by gathering statistics on child care in Nash and
Edgecombe counties, operating a database of local child care
options, increasing the awareness of quality child care, and
working with businesses who are concerned about the effects of
child care problems on the workforce. -Child care providers by offering support to new child care
businesses, providing technical assistance to existing child care
programs and sponsoring training and workshops on child care
issues.

The Lending Library offers a variety of toys and educational materials for licensed child care providers to check out.
Quality Improvement Initiatives provides technical assistance to child care programs and facilities desiring to increase the quality of their program.
Regional CCR&R Services provide leadership and support for child care resource and referral services offered in CCR&R region 18, which includes Nash, Edgecombe, Halifax, Warren and Wilson counties.
