The Down East Partnership for Children (DEPC) receives funding from a variety of public and private resources including:

North Carolina Division of Child Development - to provide child care resource and referral services for families and quality care and education training for child care providers.

Smart Start - North Carolina's award-winning early childhood initiative designed to ensure that all children are ready for school. These funds, which are awarded annually, must support programs and services for children ages birth to 5.

North Carolina Division of Social Services - provides family education services, one-on-one support and information and referral to needed resources.

North Carolina More at Four Initiative - to provide high quality early childhood education for at-risk 4 year old children.
