One of the goals of the Down East Partnership for Children is universal access to quality education. One aspect of this is quality, affordable and accessible child care and early childhood education.
The Partnership works with all local child care centers, family child care homes and other early childhood education programs to insure that all families have the best possible child care and education available to them. |  |
Many of these services are provided through the Child Care Resource and Referral program at the DEPC Family Resource Center located at 215 Lexington Street in Rocky Mount, NC. Other services are provided through programs funded in local agencies and organizations. CCR&R Professional Development Workshops
You can download the Professional Development Workshops and Registration Form, complete and return it to DEPC. The registration procedures and policies are included with the form.
Child Care Services Association (CCSA) offers a variety of professional development opportunities for child care providers to help them advance in their careers and continue to improve the quality of care available to children.
The NC Child Care Coalition led the way for statewide implementation of the T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Project as well as continued advocacy efforts for increased funding for Child Care Subsidy and fair rates for child care providers.
